Unions & Guilds

Represents professional technicians working “below-the-line” on TV and movie productions in the state of New Mexico. Since 1988, Local 480 has covered experienced film workers in ninety-nine crafts within twenty departments. It is our goal to provide our members with the benefits of safe working conditions, health coverage, and retirement.

Teamsters Local 399 represents workers in the Motion Picture Industry including firms that produce Feature Films, Television Programs, Commercials, and New Media Productions. Since the inception of the Union in the early 1930s, we have upheld a longstanding tradition providing quality service to the Motion Picture and Theatrical Trade Industry.

The International Cinematographers Guild represents the most talented camera professionals and publicists in the world. The technicians and artisans in our union are the creators of the visual images on the big screen, the television screen and our computer screen.

Through the collective voice of more than 19,000 members that the DGA represents, the Guild seeks to protect directorial teams’ legal and artistic rights, contend for their creative freedom, and strengthen their ability to develop meaningful and credible careers.

The AFM is the largest organization in the world dedicated to representing the interests of professional musicians. More than 100,000 members perform all styles of music: alternative rock, classical, pop, gospel, jazz, country, folk, rock, big band, reggae, contemporary Christian, etc. The AFM has been promoting and protecting professional musicians since 1896, and it continues to be an effective advocate for musicians’ rights in the workplace, whether on a symphony stage, in a recording studio, or on tour.
